Icelandic Prime Minister Jakobsdottir expressed the importance of Scandinavian cooperation in supporting Ukraine, especially during reconstruction.
Jakobsdottir stated that it is important to keep a record of the damage caused by Russia, a strong compensation mechanism and a European Council meeting to discuss Russia’s accountability.
Norwegian Prime Minister Store de Zelenskiy’s attendance at the Helsinki meeting was touching and hopeful.
Store stated that peace should be brought to Ukraine and promised to help in this regard.
Swedish Prime Minister Kristersson also emphasized that Sweden has provided strong assistance to Ukraine so far.
Stating that the European Union also provides significant support to Ukraine, Kristersson especially mentioned the supply of ammunition.
Danish Prime Minister Frederiksen, on the other hand, when asked when Denmark will supply fighter jets to Ukraine, replied that the allied countries are still discussing the issue.
Fredriksen underlined that Denmark provided various military aid to Ukraine and agreed on a new aid package.
